The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency invests in new e-services

Background

Ladda bilen is a government grant that allows companies and organizations to apply for funding for the installation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. To enable an efficient, secure, and scalable application process, a modern web-based interface was required that could be seamlessly integrated with several surrounding systems.

Assignment

Arkido was engaged to assist with team lead and integration expertise in the development of the new e-service. The assignment included both technical leadership and hands-on development with a focus on connecting the web service with underlying systems via APIs.

Solution

Arkido took overall responsibility for the integration layer and ensured that information flows between the user interface and external systems functioned correctly, securely, and traceably. The work included, among other things:

• Design and implementation of API integrations with surrounding systems
• Handling, transforming, and patching of JSON data to ensure data quality and compatibility between systems
• Establishing clear integration patterns for future development
• Technical leadership of the team with a focus on quality, structure, and delivery capability
• Arkido contributed both strategically and operationally, with a combination of architectural understanding, integration expertise, and development capacity.
