Quickchannel had a need to strengthen its connection to CRM and create clearer business value from video data. For this, they chose Arkido as an integration partner, with the goal of building a standardized integration module between Quickchannel and Salesforce.

Challenge

Many organizations use video as a central part of their marketing and communication – but lack the connection to sales and CRM processes.

This often leads to:

  • Manual handling of registrations and leads
  • Limited insight into how viewing behavior affects business
  • Difficulty in driving relevant follow-up based on actual activity

Solution

Arkido developed an integration module that syncs data between Quickchannel and Salesforce CRM with two-way communication.

The core of the solution:

  • Automatic sync of registrations and video behavior
  • Creation of leads and activity logs directly in Salesforce
  • Updating contact status based on viewing behavior
  • Support for both Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud

The integration works both Synchronously – meaning in real-time when a user registers, and Asynchronously – when behavioral data (views, participation) is retrieved afterward.

How it works in practice

The solution is based on a clear data flow between the systems.

Example of flow:

  • A user registers via a form (in Salesforce or Quickchannel)
  • A lead is automatically created in Salesforce
  • Events and participation are linked to the correct contact
  • When the user watches a video or participates in a webinar, the status in CRM is updated
  • Marketing and sales can trigger follow-up based on actual activity

This enables:

  • Automated lead management
  • Real-time or near real-time follow-up
  • Data-driven marketing automation
